| Damaging Provision Included in Children's Health and Medicare Protection Act of 2007
Recently the House of Representatives proposed a version of HR 3162 or the Children's Health and Medicare Protection Act of 2007. This legislation has a provision buried in it by Rep. Stark’s subcommittee which would markedly and negatively impact us all.
Please read the attached template for U.S. Representatives and Senators. Please convert it to a separate letter for your individual representative and both Senators. If this provision is not eliminated from the final House bill, the only chance we have is to have it eliminated at the conference committee. The offensive section is not in the senate version of the bill. Your ASDIN officers have been in contact with SIR and both societies must stand together in opposing this legislation.
Please treat this as an emergency. Please have your partners also write letters. If you have any questions please let ASDIN know.
