| This section presents a list of articles on the multidisciplinary nature of dialysis access care. Several authorities in dialysis access care provide opinion as well as evidence that emphasize the importance of integrated care for the proper placement, maintenance, monitoring and success of dialysis vascular access. .Understanding the issues presented by the articles in this section is the cornerstone for increasing the prevalence of AVFs among the hemodialysis population and minimizing the cost and morbidity of vascular access.
