2/22/2012 Online registration is now closed.  ASDIN will accept onsite registration at the ASDIN Scientific Meeting Registration Desk in the Grand Foyer, 5th Floor, New Orleans Sheraton beginning at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 24th. 

Registraion hours are:

Friday, 2/24 /12 - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday 2/25/12 - 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday 2/26/12 - 7:00 am - 12:15 pm


2/14/2012 PreCourse is Full!  No registration slots are available for the ASDIN PreCourse on 2/24/12.


 

1/25/2012 - Overflow Hotel Reservations
At present, the ASDIN room block is sold out at the Meeting Headquarters Hotel - The Sheraton New Orleans. Additional rooms are available at the St. Christopher Best Western Select Hotel, 114 Magazine Street, just steps away from the Sheraton (literally 322 feet according to Google Maps). To make reservations, call the St. Christopher at (504) 648-0444 or (800) 645-9312. You must mention that you are with ASDIN in order to receive the group rate. This room block will be available until February 13th or until all rooms are sold, whichever occurs first.

Rates are:
Feb. 23 @ $119.00 per night, plus tax
Feb. 24 & 25 @ $139.00 per night, plus tax

The cancellation for each individual room is 72 hours prior to arrival.
The St. Christopher Hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast daily from 6:00 am-10:00 am and free hi speed internet in the guest rooms.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) through the joint sponsorship of MSSNY and American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN). MSSNY is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Medical Society of the State of New York designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.5 AMA/PRA Category 1 credits™. Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

LAST CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - DEADLINE Extended to January 20th!

We have received a great response to-date (on deadline) for abstract submissions, gadgets and cases, but the Program Chairs asked that the deadline be extended to next Friday - January 20th to allow an opportunity for greater participation.  Abstracts already submitted may also be edited and additions made through the extended deadline.  Information for each category of submission is below.  If you have any questions, or need additional info, please feel free to contact the ASDIN office at 601-924-2220 or by email, info@asdin.org.


NEW!  for 2012 - Scholarship for Fellows or Physicians-in-Training

At the time of abstract submission, the submitting investigator must identify if a fellow or physician in training will be presenting the abstract if it is selected. The abstracts will be evaluated and scored by the standard policy. If abstracts submitted by fellow or physicians in training are selected for either a podium or a poster presentation, scholarships may be awarded to them as follows:

Full ASDIN Meeting scholarship: 1. If selected for podium presentation, up to two fellows or physicians in training will be awarded a Full ASDIN Meeting Scholarship which includes: Complimentary Meeting registration for the presenting fellow or physician in training Complimentary hotel accommodations for two nights for the presenting physician in training
2. If more than 2 fellows or physicians in training have been selected for podium presentation, the two fellow or physician in training abstracts with the highest scores will receive the Full ASDIN Meeting Scholarship.

Partial ASDIN Meeting Scholarship: Includes a 50% reduction of Meeting registration awarded in the following order:
1. Fellows or physicians in training selected for podium presentation who did not receive the full scholarship
2. The top 5 fellows or physicians in training selected for abstract poster presentation
3. Fellows or physicians in training that live in the same State as the hosting city

**NOTE: A maximum of 2 Full Scholarships and 5 Partial Scholarships will be awarded per year.
