Accreditation is documentation by The American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology that a nephrology training program or other training site has met specified requirements related to institutional support, facilities, expertise, experience, and personnel directed toward training in Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.

 

Accreditation is offered in the following areas:

  • Hemodialysis Vascular Access (HVA)
    Endovascular procedures on AV fistulas/grafts and chronic Central Venous Catheters for Dialysis

The length of the process varies and depends on the accuracy of the completed application, how many accreditations are in process, and the time that it takes the committee to review the application, and schedule a site visit.
