Dear Friends and Colleagues,
When ASDIN was formed in 2000, it was out of necessity, not convenience. For Nephrologists
The creation of a journal suitable for publication of articles on dialysis access and diagnostic ultrasound
All practice of medicine becomes more specialized over time, and our membership is no different;
JVA is the official journal of the Vascular Access Society (VAS), and is published in association with the Vascular Access Society of the Americas (VASA), the Vascular Access Society of Britain & Ireland (VASBI), the Australian Vascular Access Society (AVAS), the Japanese and Korean Societies for Dialysis Access and the WoCoVA Foundation. During the past year we have had extensive discussions with the JVA Editor Dr. Gallieni and the Wichtig Publishing staff, who have assured us that the submission process for journal articles will proceed very much like that which occurred before. ASDIN will retain its current Editors and Editorial Board and the ASDIN will retain control over which articles are published in this journal under ASDIN auspices. Articles originating from our members will be clearly identified within the journal format. Beginning September 1, 2015 we ask that all articles submitted for publication in our official journal be submitted to JVA. When you submit articles to JVA’s submission site, www.editorialmanager.com/jva, indicate that you wish to have the ASDIN Editorial Board review the article.
Beginning in 2016, each member of ASDIN will automatically receive an electronic subscription to The Journal of Vascular Access, so that we can easily review our articles and those submitted by other societies dedicated to improvement in dialysis access and diagnostic nephrology.
