We have begun the process of hiring an architect and applying to the state but I was wondering if anyone has made this switch recently with AAAHC as their accrediting body.

It looks to me that the standards are very similar or exactly the same, just the addition of the Fire and Life Safety items? Maybe I just want it to be that simple?!? LOL!

Medicaid G0365

Hello ASDIN Community,

I have a question regarding G0365. My billing department states that Medicaid is now denying G0365 stating services rendered are not covered through texas Medicaid. Are any other centers in Texas having this issue? The also were informed by a fellow coder that if it gets denied to use 75820 for one arm and 75822 for bilateral arms. Again this is for a vein mapping not a venogram and I felt that those 7 codes should only be used if its a venogram meaning there was a cannulation and x-ray was used.

Thanks in advance,

I used the RPA (renal physician association) suggested "PQRS wizard" to report data. It had some catheter related measures (PD and hemodialysis) as well as some surgical vascular access reportable measures. Would love to hear from others for better applicability for our distinct practice area of dialysis access. Most of the other reportable measures involved either dialysis visit codes or clinic visit codes which both don't usually apply to dialysis access care.
