ASDIN EndoAVF Cannulation Survey - Please participate and share

The recent FDA clearance of two devices to create an AV fistula (AVF) using an endovascular approach has created a need to better understand the care and cannulation of the endoAVF or eAVF in the dialysis facilities.  ASDIN has put together a quick survey to collect feedback from dialysis staff cannulating endo AV fistulae.

The feedback will be used to better understand any unique care and cannulation needs of the endoAVF compared to a traditional surgical AVF. This may include feel of the needle when entering the vessel, needle placements or finding the fistula outflow to cannulate without a surgical scar.  Please share this LINK -  with dialysis facilities that have endoAVF patients and have reached the maturation point to being cannulated.

You do not need to be an ASDIN member to take or share the survey.  We ask that any ASDIN members currently creating endoAVFs, please share this with the dialysis facilities cannulating the endoAVFs.  The feedback will be utilized for a ASDIN White Paper providing initial use guidance to the Dialysis Access Care Teams and dialysis personnel.
