Call for Gadgets

The American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN) is currently soliciting applications for a breakout GADGETS session.
This session is designed to give the ASDIN Annual Scientific Meeting participants an opportunity to learn about the important new devices and procedures that are in development, through collaboration of science, engineering and medicine.
The breakout session is scheduled for: Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 3:15 pm - 4:45 pm.
We would like to extend an invitation to all of our members and industry partners to submit an application to present a 10 minute summary (with 5 minutes of questions from the audience) of a novel technology as described below:
  • Presentation submission must be in the form of an abstract of less than 500 words describing the background, methods of investigation, results of testing, and discussion
  • Presentation must be given by scientific representative from clinical practice, academia or industry (engineer, PhD, MD or equivalent)
  • Devices (therapeutic, diagnostic, or informatic in nature) that are not commercially available or marketed at the time of application will be considered for inclusion in the session
  • Abstracts received on or before the following deadline will be considered: Monday, January 9, 2012.
