Accreditation
Accreditation: Documentation by The American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology that a nephrology training program or other training site has met specified requirements related to institutional support, facilities, expertise, experience, and personnel directed toward training in Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. Applications are found at the bottom of this page.
Accreditation is offered in the following areas:
- Sonography of kidneys and urinary bladder
- Insertion of peritoneal dialysis catheters
- Endovascular procedures on AV fistulas and grafts, and Chronic Central Venous Catheters for Dialysis
The length of the process varies and depends on the accuracy of the completed application, how many accreditations are in process, and the time that it takes the committee to review the application.
