Research Grant in Vascular Access

ASDIN’s Leadership is fully committed to supporting research in dialysis vascular access. In recent action by the ASDIN Council, the $25,000 Research Grant in Vascular Access was returned to an annual award. The Grant is open to all researchers, but additional scoring advantage is given to fellows and young investigators (within 7 years of the end of training). The award was first offered in 2014. In the 2021 cycle, a record twelve quality research grant applications were received.

ASDIN To Fund Six Microgrants In 2021
In the Fall 2020, the ASDIN Research Committee piloted a new MicroGrant Program offering two small $2,500 grants to support projects that can be completed in a short time-period – 2-3 months. In 2021, ASDIN Leadership budgeted to continue the program with a funding of up to six (6) awards. All types of dialysis access related research are eligible for submission and should address scientific questions and detailed clinical observations. ASDIN wishes to encourage medical residents/fellows and junior faculty to present the latest dialysis access research to colleagues around the world. ASDIN accepts these MicroGrant applications on a rolling basis. The application remains open until all funding is exhausted.Apply here NOW
