Accreditation

Accreditation is documentation by The American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology that a nephrology training program or other training site has met specified requirements related to institutional support, facilities, expertise, experience, and personnel directed toward training in Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.  Benefits of ASDIN Accreditation include special designation and acknowledgement as an Accredited Training Center and promotion of open fellowship opportunities.

The length of the process varies and depends on the accuracy of the completed application, how many accreditation applications are in process, and the time that it takes the committee to review the application, and schedule a site visit.
