Another inquiry on policies and procedures. We have a center that would like to know how many centers offer transportation to and fro and if there are any policies regarding transportation that could be shared. Thanks.
We have often talked about providing transportation to our pateints but have been hesitant to move forward due to the legal issues surrounding the service.
I do most of my interventional work in a life line access center. Transportation is provided only one way for the patient who needs evaluation when other means of travel are not available). This policy appears to be redundant with 'Catch 22' problem.
