American Society of Nephrology
The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) was founded in 1967 as a nonprofit corporation to enhance and assist the study and practice of nephrology, to provide a forum for the promulgation of research, and to meet the professional and continuing education needs of its members. 

American Nephrology Nurses Association
Established as a nonprofit organization in 1969, the American Nephrology Nurses' Association (ANNA) has a growing membership of nearly 10,000 nephrology professionals.The American Nephrology Nurses' Association as a professional organization has the obligation to set forth and update high standards of patient care, educate its practitioners, stimulate research, disseminate new ideas through the field, promote interdisciplinary communication and cooperation, and address issues encompassing the practice of nephrology nursing.

The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine AIUM is a multidisciplinary association dedicated to advancing the safe and effective use of ultrasound in medicine through professional and public education, research, development of guidelines, and accreditation.
 
The Association for Vascular Access (AVA) is an exciting multidisciplinary organization composed of clinicians, educators, regulators and manufacturers from the medical field of Vascular Access. AVA provides an opportunity for these individuals to improve practice and patient outcomes by focusing on education and new product innovations. AVA is the premier professional organization for those individuals in Vascular Access who are leading the thoughts and actions of others in the field.

 

National Kidney Foundation
KDOQI Clinical Practice Guideline for Vascular Access: 2019 Update
The National Kidney Foundation’s Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (KDOQI) has provided evidence-based guidelines for hemodialysis vascular access since 1996. Since the last update in 2006, there has been a great accumulation of new evidence and sophistication in the guidelines process. The 2019 update to the KDOQI Clinical Practice Guideline for Vascular Access is a comprehensive document intended to assist multidisciplinary practitioners care for chronic kidney disease patients and their vascular access.

 

Renal Physicians Association
