Membership Categories

It is the hope of the founders of ASDIN that the Society will be as inclusive as possible and still maintain the Society's purposes.

There are several categories of membership:

Active Membership (North America) - $250.00 USD Annually: Nephrologists and other physicians who maintain an active interest in nephrological diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. Active Members shall be eligible to hold office in the Society, serve on committees, and vote for the election of officers and on all matters brought before the general membership.  This membership category is for physicians in the United States, Canada and Mexico.  This membership includes an online subscription to Journal of Vascular Access.  A print subscription to Journal of Vascular Access may be purchased for $35 USD annually.  

Active Membership (International) - $200.00 USD Annually: Nephrologists and other physicians who maintain an active interest in nephrological diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. Active Members shall be eligible to hold office in the Society, serve on committees, and vote for the election of officers and on all matters brought before the general membership. This membership category is for physicians outside of North America (United States, Canada and Mexico). This membership includes an online-only subscription to Journal of Vascular Access.  A print subscription to Journal of Vascular Access may be purchased for $35 USD anually.

Dual Society Memberships for International Societies are available.  Contact the ASDIN office - 601-924-2220.  Subject to ASDIN Council approval.

Associate Membership - $125.00 USD Annually: Nurses and other health care professionals who have an active interest in nephrological diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. They may not be eligible to hold office in the Society or vote for the election of officers and on all matters brought before the general membership except as specified otherwise in the Bylaws, but may be eligible to serve on committees. This membership includes an online-only subscription to Journal of Vascular Access.  A print subscription to Journal of Vascular Access  may be purchased for $35 USD annually.

There are two categories of Associate Membership:

Associate-Administrator - Individuals involved in an interventional practice in an administrative capacity
Associate-Clinical - Nurses, physician assistants, technologists, dialysis technicians, other clinical personnel

Center group membership is also available to clinical and administrative personnel within a center at significant cost-savings. For more information on Center membership, click here.

Member-In-Training (Fellow) - $35.00 USD Annually: Physician in training who has an active interest in nephrological diagnostic and interventional procedures. They may not vote or be eligible to hold office, but may serve on committees.  This membership includes an online-only subscription to Journal of Vascular Access.  A print subscription to Journal of Vascular Access may be purchased for $35 USD annually.

Emeritus Membership - Members who were formerly active and who have retired from clinical, teaching and research activities. They have no voting rights and cannot hold office. Emeritus Members may serve on committees.  Emeritus status must be approved by ASDIN Council.  This membership does not include a subscription to Journal of Vascular Access. 

Supporting Membership - $500.00 USD Annually: Industry representatives and other such individuals who demonstrate support of the society. They are not eligible to vote or hold office but are eligible to serve on

Committees.  Supporting Membership must be approved by ASDIN Council.
